Was just scanning the blog and wanted to let everyone know that the Mason City Youth Task Force has a Promise Team -Marketable Skills – working on this issue. Their primary areas of focus are Academic Achievement and Life Skills development (including leadership). We are in the process of conducting a comprehensive community needs assessment around these issues. If anyone wants to discuss this, please email me at mschissel@masoncity.net.

When is the next meeting?
There is no scheduled Education Meeting at this time. I will ask Jennifer if something is in the works.
I think it is scheduled for Tuesday October 25. 11:30-1:00 but double check for sue.
