Make Your Mark.

Thank you for visiting and hopefully participating in the first ever Community Impact Blog.  We, at United Way of North Central Iowa, are so excited to introduce and explore this venue of communication and hope that it will generate great conversations, ideas, and solutions to the issues we ponder on a daily basis.  The purpose of this blog is to bring all Community Impact members up to speed on meetings, discussions, advancements, challenges, etc.  Our hope is to bring an efficient and all-inclusive  method of communication to all of our volunteers, community members, board of directors, and United Way staff.  We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas, and post your feedback regarding the Community Impact meetings you might attend.

On the right, you will find links to the three areas of Community Impact: Education, Income, and Health.  Once you click within your area of interest you will find a current roster of all participating Community Impact counselors (subject matter experts) and leaders (community volunteers). If you don’t see your name, and would like to join in the conversation, please click here, or visit the contact link to learn more about becoming involved.  You will also find a collaboration of notes from the Community Impact Team meetings.  If you notice something has been left out – please add your comme nts!  That’s the entire purpose of this site – to engage and inform.  The site works like a newsfeed, so the most current topics will be at the top of the site, and the older will follow.

If you’re looking for information on a specific topic, utilize the search function.  Or browse the site by the date that corresponds with the meeting (see the calendar on the sidebar).

You will also be able to view the upcoming meetings by clicking on the calendar link on the sidebar.

Thank you for visiting the blog.  Please engage in the converation – make your mark.  We look forward to your thoughts, dreams, and ideas.
